Leadership concepts straight from the field
As many of you know I graduated from my MBA program just over a couple months ago from the Foster School of Business at University of Washington. The program there has a strong focus on leadership with such stalwart teachers like Pat Bettin, Greg Bigley and Vern Buck. By the time I graduated in July 2011, I had a gained a tremendous amount of knowledge in the areas of leadership and organizational behavior.
Even before I joined the MBA program though, I was fascinated by leadership, especially the type of leadership that attracts first-rate talent and breeds unquestionable loyalty.
Over the next few weeks, I will blog about my personal leadership concepts “straight from the field” that are a direct outcome of my interest in that kind of leadership, combined with hundreds of hours of research from dozens of business books, and online content.
I dedicate this leadership series of blog posts to my own personal and professional leaders and more importantly to my current and former team members that trusted and believed in me as I built my leadership skill set.
I would like to chat about leadership…I made a post on my blog this summer. I’d be interested in your thoughts.
sure Scott. i would be up for a discussion on leadership in hour of the day/night!
